Second year for Moroso at Design Shanghai
For the second year running, Moroso confirmed its presence at Design Shanghai, China’s leading design event, held at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre from 9 to 12 March 2016.
Moroso had its own exhibition space, where it presented the Setting the Elegance collection: products revisited with new and elegant fabrics, in collaboration with Kvadrat and Rubelli – two top-level textile partners. And so it was that the already-known Big Mama and Newtone by Massimo Iosa Ghini, My Beautiful Backside by Doshi&Levien, and Volant and Fjord by Patricia Urquiola, were presented to the Oriental market with unusual coverings for design objects, requiring a deeper interpretation, going beyond the form to reach the surface. Also featured was the Diesel Living with Moroso collection, where the carefree, rock’n’roll attitude of the brand was expressed with Longwave armchair, Gimme Shelter sofa, Perf cabinets and other products from the collection: high quality and a modern style in which the extreme purity of the lines are the distinguishing feature of the designs.
The renewed participation of Moroso in this event reaffirms the Italian brand’s growing commitment to the Asian market.
