Moroso in Dubai for Design Week
Moroso takes part once again in Downtown Design Dubai, to be held 25-28 October 2016 in Dubai’s Design District.
Moroso’s large exhibition space will feature the brand-new Armada seating collection by Doshi&Levien; Daniel Libeskind’s sculptural Gemma collection; and Pipe, the oversized seating by Sebastian Herkner.
An important display area in the entrance hall will be given over to the Sushi Collection designed by Edward Van Vliet, who, on Thursday 27 October, will hold a textile workshop in association with textile firms Kvadrat and Febrik. Young architects and designers chosen from the country’s leading design firm will compete in upholstering a miniature version of the iconic Take a Line for a Walk armchair by Alfredo Häberli for Moroso.
Junglemania is another unmissable event, a display by Super Future Design starring Moroso’s M’Afrique Collection. The event’s opening party will be held on October 25 at the Super Future Design Showroom in the Dubai Design District.
Lastly, Moroso will also be seen in Kvadrat Maharam’s showroom in Dubai with Doshi&Levien’s iconic Paper Planes armchairs which on this occasion will be upholstered with Kvadrat fabrics. The two designers will attend a cocktail reception on Wednesday 26 October.
