Moroso for Inside Creative Store by Claude Cartier
Moroso has helped to set up Claude Cartier’s new Inside Creative Store in Lyons, a space where visitors may see the best designer creations thanks to a six-monthly display focused on a furniture maker, a textile producer and a designer. Claude Cartier devised this place, which opened in early March, as a hothouse of ideas where she will create an artistic dimension so her customers’ experience and sensations will be different from those transmitted by a classic showroom.
In addition to Pierre Frey and Aylin Langreuter, Moroso was chosen for this project because of its time-honoured commitment to research and continuous innovation in design forms associated with artisan-based production techniques and an extraordinary attention to quality. Cartier’s store will feature designs by Patricia Urquiola such as Lowland and Shanghai Tip sofas, the Bloomy armchair and Fjord poufs. There will also be iconic Ron Arad creations such as his Soft Big Heavy armchair and Misfits. Nendo is there too, of course, with the Dew pouf, plus Sebastian Herkner’s Banjooli chairs. Archea Associati’s Terreria bookcase was chosen to partition the space while giving light and movement to the setting.
