Moroso at the 2015 Milan Furniture Show
Moroso presented its new products of the 2015 collection at the International Furniture Show in Milan. The selection is characterized by families of objects which unite, differentiate and blend together while creating a dialogue with the richness of differences inherent to each environment. New designs for 2015 include Ron Arad’s two surprisingly-shaped sofas, Matrizia and Glider. Architect Daniel Libeskind is behind Gemma, an armchair based on contrasting lines; while Marc Thorpe launched Husk, a collection of clean, simple products for the contract and outdoor worlds. The Double Zero chair, composed of two metal rings which enclose the seat and backrest upholstery, is the fruit of a collaborative effort between David Adjaye and Moroso. The collection is rounded off with a variety of lounge seating and furnishing accessories such as Sebastian Herkner’s Pipe Collection, or the Float stools and Corners storage containers by Nendo – all designed for creating diverse furnishing solutions.
Together with its space inside the fair halls, Moroso hosts Vis-à-Vis in its showroom at Via Pontaccio 8-10, until 31 May 2015. Art meets design in a dialogue among products by Jörg Schellmann and the conceptual art works by artists like Daniel Buren, Donald Judd, Gehrard Merz and Peter Halley.
