Moroso at Orgatec 2018
Moroso has confirmed it will be exhibiting at the 2018 edition of Orgatec, the trade fair dedicated to working environments being held in Cologne from 23 to 27 October. This year’s central theme,“culture@work”, explores the new con-cepts and cultures that will shape future workplaces and ways of working through the promotion of creativity and sharing of ideas.
And it is precisely the topics of sharing, creativity and modularity that have always guided the Company in its development of products and collections for this type of environment as well as others, leading to the creation of objects featuring a fusion of design, functionality, quality and originality.
Inside the area dedicated to Moroso, situated in the splendid Design Post just a few steps from the trade fair, the new modular Tape seating system by Ben-jamin Hubert and Yumi chairs by Niels Bendtsen will be introduced to the Ger-man market. Both these items were previewed at the Milan Furniture Fair in April as prototypes and today are manufactured industrially.
Other new products on display: the Chamfer and Gentry Extra Light sofas designed by Patricia Urquiola and the Mathilda table which, along with the stools, completes the family of products from the collection created by the same Spanish designer.
The sofas Josephine by Gordon Guillaumier and Modernista by Doshi Lev-ien complete the display setting. These products are the result of meticulous, painstaking research carried out into the contract and public space sectors in re-sponse to requirements arising from a new concept of hospitality.
The top floor on the other hand hosts the area dedicated to Diesel Living with Moroso, a collection of comfortable products sporting a casual air, inspired by the idea of informal living and oriented towards an audience that loves simple shapes yet is looking for high quality, modern taste combined with a distinctive linear design.
The stairs divide the space into two areas: Deco Futura armchairs and so-fa accompanied by the Perf sideboard on one side, and the Pylon table with Shortwave chairs, More Bench sofas and the Assembly collection on the other.
An easy-going rock style that can adapt extremely well to different types of envi-ronments.
