The names of the winners Alessandro Agudio, Giulio Delvé, and Namsal Siedlecki were officialised on the opening day of the exhibition organized in the suggestive setting of Villa Manin in Passariano (Udine) where the works of the 12 finalists will be display from March 28 to May 24, 2015.
A panel of experts featuring illustrious names in architecture, design, and art: Carlo Bach, Art Director at Illy; Gianluigi Ricuperati, Creative Director at Domus Academy ; Patricia Urquiola, designer; Daniel Libeskind, architect, and Anna Mattirolo, director of MAXXI Arte proclaimed the winners for the 2015 Edition.
These three artists will be offered the opportunity of producing their own site-specific work in Moroso’s New York, London and Milan showrooms starting from 2016.
The work of Alessandro Agudio, Chrome, that will furnish the Moroso venue in Milan, concentrates on colours that permit “Enter into one’s own world through super-personalization”.
Giulio Delvé will be working instead in the London showroom, where he will present his Spazio Amoroso project that is distinctively characterized by the keywords of the Moroso philosophy ‘listening, design, quality and respect for the environment’.
The New York venue, will instead be dedicated to the work by Namsal Siedlecki: Gomba Kalap, which literally means “mushroom cap” in Romanian language linked to one of the artist’s personal experiences.
